Drug Discovery in the Centre
Scientists in the Centre are working on designing novel drugs including small molecules and PROTACs to treat different children’s brain tumours. Ongoing work is focused on ependymoma and high grade glioma, with the aim to identify, prioritise and optimise inhibitors of lead targets validated. This work is led by the Centre’s medicinal chemistry team and experts in drug discovery and development and novel drug-to-brain delivery approaches.
