Paediatric Brain Tumour Biology and Models
We will advance the understanding of the basic biology of paediatric brain tumours by developing and studying highly-accurate models for paediatric brain tumours. These models include genetically engineered mouse models (GEMMs) and patient-derived orthotopic xenografts (PDOXs). These models will be used to identify the cellular origins of these tumours and discover genetic drivers and cell hierarchies that maintain the tumours.
