International Summer School 2020: Developing and Modelling Accurate Preclinical Studies

We will host our first summer school focusing on Developing and Modelling Preclinical Studies. The summer school is aimed at those who are interested in designing and performing accurate preclinical studies with the aim to take new treatments for paediatric brain tumours into the clinic.
This ground-breaking summer school will focus on identifying the scientific and clinical challenges of developing and performing preclinical studies and how to translating them into clinical trials. Participants will hear from experts in the field of brain tumours; academic and industry researchers, neuropathologists, radiologists, medicinal chemists and clinicians.
- Clinicians and researchers will present case studies that demonstrate the comparison of brain tumours in humans versus murine models
- All delegates will participate in a team activity over the duration of the school, culminating in a presentation on the final day
- Participants will have the opportunity to attend a networking dinner with the speakers
- Participants will attend a formal dinner at Trinity Hall College
The summer school will be held at the new WYNG Gardens conference venue of Trinity Hall College, Cambridge, UK.
Day delegate £200 – includes lunch Monday 27th July to Thursday 30th July and dinner Monday 27th July to Wednesday 30th July
Overnight delegate £350 – includes full board accommodation in WYNG Gardens Monday 27th July to Thursday 30th July
